Our site provides information that helps (and educates) owner builders simplify the build process right from deciding to become an owner builder through to the completion of the build. Our goal is to be the go-to resource for all aspects of a build.
Owner building is a niche industry in Australia with approximately 40,000 owner builders per year. It’s a very challenging process to take on!
We offer 3 paid resources – 1) Is Owner Building for You 2) The Pre-planning Stage and 3) Nail Your Build. Nail Your Build is the entire build process broken down by stage of the build and includes, trades, materials and what to check at each stage. We’re not builders therefore, for credibility, our resources were developed in consultation with two registered builders.
Our social media footprint is a Private Facebook group with almost 8,000 members as well as a email database of 3,000.
More recently, we have expanded our Articles page to include broader topics relating to building with the key focus being to provide quality information.
